Bathroom GFCI

I usually run a circuit for a bathroom GFCI then jump to a second bathroom GFCI. I usually end up with two or three receptacles on this circuit.

I was told that I can NOT take this GFCI circuit from one bathroom to another, that I have to run a new circuit for each bathroom.

Is this a new code change?

210.11(C)(3) and Exception . If there are only bathroom outlets on the circuit, it is permitted to supply more than one bathroom on the circuit.

Edit: Forgot to add I am going off of the 2002 NEC.

No, there's no real change, you can still put all the bathroom receptacles on the same circuit, so long as those receptacles are all that's on that circuit.

The wording in the 2005 has been tweaked to allow the exception to be used in mulitiple bathrooms, provided each bathroom gets it own circuit.
