Article 550.13 F 1- Receptacle outlets shall not be installed in or within reach [ 750mm (30in.)]
of a shower or bathtub space. This in a section for Mobile and Manufactured homes. Does this include All Dwelling units?

Re: Bathroom Receptacles

Not trying to start a new thread but its ok to have a non gfci protected receptacle within 6 ft of a laundry sink, but not within 6 ft of a wet bar sink...What`s the difference ??? water is water....

Re: Bathroom Receptacles

Seriously, whats the difference??? Yes jim there are more drunks at the wet bar.Need a spoon ??
pure water in FLA. LOL
ever see a well toilet left unattended for 2 weeks
here ??? Thats 240 ft down too

Re: Bathroom Receptacles

Personally i think they have a equel hazard. But then we still can't explain the differance between a trailer and a house for that outlet next to shower.Seems the more NEC i read the grayer the print gets.
