Bathroom receptacles

Once the 20 amp circuit requirement has been met for a residential bathroom can additional receptacles ( bidet, towel warmer receps) be fed from a nearby general purpose circuit?

I’m asking because I’ve got a power source 2’ away from the bidet and towel rack.

Starting with the 2020 code, it is clear that you can do that...with the 2017 and older, it is not as clear

We generally run dedicated 20 amp circuits to the Bidet toilets/seats. They can draw up to 12 amp when heating the water.
