I am currently remodeling A bathroom. Does the code say if i am using a separate circuit that i can feed lights and other equipment in the bathroom. Also can i use existing circuit for lighting and use new circuit for the receptacle in bathroom.

That is what I try to do on bathrooms. Use the existing circuit for lights and then run a 20 amp circuit for the recpt.

I try to keep the lights and receptacles seperate as well if I can. But as for cost i was wandering about using existing circuit.

Cost can become a non-issue if you have to back because they keep tripping breakers. It always amazes me the amount of stuff that some people need to get ready for work in the morning.

If this is a master bath you might very well find his and her vanities as well as a full circuit of lighting.Have had baths that took 4 circuits/ with tub.This is one room that better not trip breakers.
