Hospital They r remodeling a bathroom in a hospital not in a patient room it is a public restroom. It does not have any showered just a toilets and a sink. Is it required to a a receptical. 2014 code I can't find anything in the code book that says it has to be other then maybe 210.60 similar occupancies thanks

In general bathrooms do not need a receptacle however if one is installed then it needs to be gfci protected. I believe if this is a standard bathroom then no gfci is needed

210.8(B) Covers GFCI protection for non dwelling units -

Bathrooms is the number one item on the list.

Art 100 definition of a bathroom:

An area including a basin with one or more of the following: a toilet, a urinal, a tub, a shower, a bidet, or similar plumbing fixtures.

A toilet and a basin in the same area is a bathroom.

210 Part III doesn't require receptacles in a non dwelling bathroom, but GFCI protection is still required if you put any in.
