article 410.10d outlines the zone in which you cannot use an assortment of fixtures within thatzone. then it goes on to say that any fixture within that zone and TO 8 ft mustshall be marked vaperproof or watertite.
The first part did not exclude recessed fixtures or surface mount fixtures which in my case would have been vaperproof.
I understand that article to mean that I can use a surface mount that is vaperproof witin the aformentioned zone.Am i correct or do i read "up to" to mean higher than 8 ft.?
