Battery Cable Cutter

In the market for a Battery operates cable cutter. Working with a lot of 250 and 500 MCM and 200 amp SER. Wanted to get the Milwaukee 12v bc that’s all I really use so I have a stock of batteries, also it is the cheapest. Anyone have any feedback on the Milwaukee or does anyone use a different brand?

I’ve had the 12 Volt Milwaukee for about a year now and it has not failed me yet. Only think that chipped my blades was when my helper cut a piece is steel from the power company ties.

If you already use Milwaukee batteries for other tools - seems the most logical way to go.

My battery cable cutter is a Milwaukee Hackzall;)
 
We have the Milwaukee M18, its an impressive tool as it will cut 1/2" rebar.
Electricians (3) and myself (instrument tech) have mostly Milwaukee. I am 100% Milwaukee at home and work even have one of the M18 heat guns

i've got a burndy and a milwualkee, so i'm doubled up,
and only need one..... the 12 volt works ok, on 500 MCM
copper it'll twist a small amount as it cuts. just the nature
of the tool.

they are about $320~$350 new. $100 gets this one, if you
are in the market for a used one.
 
Am I the only one who, when seeing the title of this thread, thought he was seeking advice on equipment used to steal car batteries?
