I have the Greenlee one, I think it was a waste of money.

New lamp, new ballast kit....no call backs.

I bought one in 1987 and have used it 4 times waste of money in my humble opinion.

Well, not really. Notice that it has their Telex number on the box, so you know it's got some age on it. The fact that it looks so new is a pretty good indication of how useless to me it turned out to be.

But I will bet mine was made in w germany also. I have been driving around with this for over 20 yrs JUST IN CASE OOOOOH i need a bran muffin.

looks like its brand new. mine was made in west germany so its probably about 20 years old

I think the best use for it is to pull it out when you have one of those customers that likes to look over your shoulder. Makes them think you know what you are doing.

Best use is, that you can zap each other with the tip of the antenna
