But that's the worst thing you can do.

[First] An individual like that doesn't mark any points up for you just because you have a brown nose.

[Second] I'm still gonna have to deal with him.

[Third] would you encourage your child to behave that way?

Before I read and posted the ebay thing I was going to suggest maybe he could swim with the fish like J Hoffa,Did I say that out loud :eek:

This crazy project will not go away,

I have had some like that!

I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the governor (whoever that is in New Jersey).

I don't know who you go to, but a call from an attorney can sometmes wake up a jerk! I would use that as a 2nd last resort.

The new inspector says, the plans are correct, but first he doesn't believe that the service is 400A (the building is 2 year old, he should have a record of the plans on file)

Why does he not believe it? Tell him to go look at it. Bring in a picture of the service. He sounds like he got up on the wrong side of the bed!

and also he says he wants to split the service 3 ways, not 2.

And his justification is...? Did he he cite any municipal ordinances, State Statues, Codes, etc. or is he shooting from the hip--"90.1 AHJ Because I said so"

But if I split it 2 ways I'll have to give this j*ck*ss calculations to do so, which will further prolong this process. (they already have 3 occupants in the building) Now, he issued the permit, but will not approve the work until these questions are answered.

Is there a State Inspector you can talk with to remedy this?

I can't believe this, and I'm at my wits end with Hamilton Township (yes, I said it!!!)

Inspectors like this should be terminated immediatly!!!
He works for you, you dont work for him!!!
Building Officials like to put on the crown of kings and its wrong. Its a really tough game sometimes.
like on my side I am Constantly arguing w/ contractors who think they do nothing wrong.
why cant we all just get along ;)

I say take him to task on everything you disagree with. What's he gonna do in retaliation? Act like he does now? He's out of cards. :D )) they just plain would not intercede without a court action.

I like the call from the attorney suggestion. Calling upon him to cite the code chapter and verse or go to court, would get him off the dime.

Too bad all the fun stuff costs money to make it happen.

You have my sympathy.
