If you have a large job with a lot of large RGS conduit(3” +) and bends I assume factory(pre fab) elbows would be the way to go instead of field bending.

We did a job for an out of state contractor who bid factory bends, after we counted how many (20 4"pipe duct bank than up into the control tower airport) extra fitting cost, they bought a bender.
Takes longer to bend than install pre-fab elbow so you have to look at the material cost against added time/labor hours to install pre-fab elbow.
