Best estimating software for commercial work?

I'm thinking about trying this Best Bid Hybrid, how did it arrive for you? Is it on a CD or USB stick? How long did it take to get? I was about to order it only to find out it’s not available for direct download, for being 2026 that's kinda lame. But I watched this videos and it looks ok. Guess I'll be doing at least 1 more estimate on excel .

It’s downloaded you get a email, it takes a day I think to get it. I am running it on a Mac with parallels it is a little laggy but I think it’s a lot for my laptop to run at once, don’t think it’s the software. If I am looking at stuff online have other stuff open it definitely drags my computer down, I plan on upgrading my computer soon.

Good to hear. I called them this morning and they filled me in, yeah they said it takes about a day to get the email. Something about they have to manually enter stuff in on their end, its kinda weird. I've got a pretty good laptop so hopefully it works pretty slick.
