I'm thinking we should get continuing education credits for being forum members, but I haven't worked out all the details yet. What do you think?

Good idea. The NC State Board is going to start making you have to go to a class. No more online continuing education credit test. I personally think I get more out of it on line then in class. Because I remember more that I read then in a lecture.

One CE credit per post.

That might be a bit excessive. Besides, some are PWI. And of cousre I've never done that,. But I couldn't, in good conscience, take credit for some of those.

some of us are on this everyday or every other, that has got to be worth something. I know I have learned a lot already

My point exactly. How would you measure a standard for stuff learned.
I'm just throwin it out there. Certainly it could be worth something.

In MA I need 21 total hours of continuing education each code cycle.

15 hours of it must be a State approved course, the remaining 6 hours can be many different things. I use my time here for my additional six hours.

Me too Bob. Now if they ever actually ask for verification of the additional six hours we will find out if this is acceptable or not.

It better, I could print out all my posts for the last three years and send them to the State.

They accept that?

I'm not saying that they shouldn't, I'm just surprised that they do.

I've gotten a great education from the time I've spent here.

And, Bob, you should see if they will give you an hour-for-hour credit for your time here. Your CEUs will be taken care of until, say, 2103.

Being where you are, I'd think the State Department would have to get involved.
