I'm want to start bidding on some small commercial work. What does your bid package consist of? Is it just a proposal with submittals?

The RFQ or RFP will indicate everything that is required to be included with your bid. If there is no RFQ issued, I suppose a phone call /email to the purchasing rep would be the best way to find out what they expect. It can/will be different for each tender. Some of my bids required only a lump sum price. Some have been 150 + pg documents.
