I installed a bunch of so called deck dots for a customer in their deck. They are very small LED lights that get wired back to a transformer/driver that plugs into a 120 volt receptacle. Recently the customer reports that after running for a few minutes they start to blink. I’m assuming the driver needs replacement. Any thoughts on this?

Anything that affects every light must be caused by a common component, i.e., the power supply.

I has worked for four years. Must be faulty. It came from supplier As a kit so I hope they sized it correctly.

In that case, I’d say the driver is faulty. But it wouldn’t hurt to make sure it’s not being driven too hard.
