charlie b Moderator Staff member Location Lockport, IL Occupation Semi-Retired Electrical Engineer Dec 7, 2017 #3 To be specific, the limit was 100 ma in the 2014 NEC. It was reduced to 30ma in the 2017 NEC. In Washington State, the limit will remain 100 ma for feeders only until next year. Branch circuits are still limited to 30 ma.
