Boat hoist

I have a job to wire a different type of boat hoist (for me). It a 4 post with 2 motors, 1 on the dockside and 1 which would be on the port side of the boat. It is a 40' long dock with nothing on the port side, except water. My question is, what methods has anyone used to run from 1 piling to the other via the lake bed?

common method around here, is to run 5 wires in some pvc (sch 80).down control side and back up to other motor..not to many options in this case!!!good luck--and safe boating....

Great idea, but then I got to thinking, boat anchors (unless you used concrete blocks) cost more than a little PVC would.

I was leaning against PVC because of the ice come winter.

I see your point; I suppose Cavie doesn't have that issue in SW FL. Would schedule 80 PVC be tough enough? or do we need Schedule 160? then that would probably cost more than the good boat anchors.
