Bond bushing on nipple.

I have a metal 1.5" nipple on a residential service that has all the romex homeruns going through it into the home. It is going to be landed in a concentric knockout. The voltage is less then 250v. Would it require a bond bushing?

No bonding bushing required. How did you end up with multiple NM cables going through the bushing?

Its a nipple entering back of the panel with all the homeruns leaving the panel and entering the wall behind it. It is an existing service.

That is done around here all the time but it is not compliant with or without a bushing....

I don't know why it confuses me so much these bond bushings. If you use a metallic raceway between a meter and a panel with main breaker would it require a bond bushing? Would it fall under bonding of service entrance conductors in a raceway? Reference?

What are you to do if its like that and there is a panel swap out? No one is going to want to tear the whole exterior wall apart...

It sounds like the nipple is only terminated on the back of the panel, with the inside end floating.

To me, it's a sleeve which will never be called upon to carry fault current, so no bonding beyond lock-nuts is required.

Yes, when you have a metal raceway in the service equipment then it must be bonded-- I believe nowhere else is it required unless it is 250V to ground 250.97

A raceway between the meter and the panel contains service entrance conductors so "extra" bonding beyond a standard locknut is required. Your nipple with NM cables requires nothing more than a standard locknut.
