Yes. (2) #8's will fit. I actually prefer these over the "traditional" lug as you can pass the wire through instead of making a pigtail. My pool equipment manufacturer switched over to this type in last few years but I have a bunch at my disposal.

Thanks for the info. Been a commercial electrician 15 years now but this will be my first pool. once I got the approval from the Township there was no way I was letting another electrician come in to do this. Been a great learning experience.

No problem. I don't deal with any above ground pools. I used to build vinyl inground but presently only building gunite pools. All have their own nuances in regard to bonding.
