hmm...ok I was not going to comment on this but heck....why not.As has been speculated in other threads, if the spa is on, for example, a concrete patio that extends from the house walls, it would not be a separate structure. But if it in the open, standing alone, it might be a separate structure needing its own ground electrode.
So every deck that is built that is "free-standing or floating", no physical connection to the existing structure would in your view have to have it's own GES. So even if I choose to place a "Hot Tub" on that "isolated" free standing deck system, is your contention that a GES is needed?
