I would like to have, for special situations, bonding wedges in stock. Maybe I am older than anyone in Arizona. Nobody knows what I am talking about and no one in Tucson carry bonding wedges. Would someone knows where can I purchase them online? Thanks a lot. Louis
Believe me, today I checked 5 home supplies and they don't have them in their catalogues and only one senior knew about the wedges. I checked several house supplies in the internet with the same results. Louis
I dunno. Grounding wedges are in the T&B catalog (I just checked), so I suspect you got a "counter monkey" when you checked with your electrical supply house. I find that when I need weird things, I need to look up the part number on the net myself, then find my vendor that deals with that manufacturer and order by part number. If you rely on the counter guys to find weird stuff for you, you will be disappointed.
A bonding wedge or grounding wedge, is designed to go between a metal cabinet and a standard locknut to serve the same purpose as a bonding locknut. The advantage is they can be installed after the conductors have been pulled into the raceway and terminated.
this is a bonding wedge, usually installed as a bonding bushing or locknut was not installed with the original work. Conductors do not need to be removed to install this fitting.
Seems like an odd creator, news to me, I do like the second page better than the first page.
Pierre, why are you using T & B Canada, creator of habit ?
