My guess it that flipping on the switch connects the hot to the neutral or ground and trips the circuit breaker. Am I close?

Thats funny. Not the best idea i've ever seen, but if it works I guess it works. What happens if you use this on a fuse box where someone has pennys for fuses. lol. I use a circuit tracer myself.
