Boosting 208V to 240V

I only have the picture as I wasn't there. Helping a friend over the phone. But he did say the pump said 208V/120V.

Shouldn’t need the buck/boost then. Just the two hots and neutral. Controls probably 120, as they would also provide power to the float control.

I said that wrong! I meant 240V/120V
