Question:
Lets say you are in a ruffing-in stage for a "attached wall hung water fountain".You have a said small dedicated space per the cut sheet that was provided via though the GC.You are laying out for your space and find that the plumber (who you never worked around before) has invaded your dedicated space.
Would you:
(a)Send your helper to obtain glue, fittings torch, flux and make your space.

(b)Send for the "saws-all",and get to your dedicated space.

(c)Notify the plumber,in the chance of a igniting a "piss'in contest attitude" that can screw up cordination of him and yourself on the other equipment terminations throughout the project.

(d)Approach and notify the G.C. (aka prime directive)and bring problem to his attention..?

What would you consider to be the best & correct recourse in this action?

And if you decide to choose "d",and nothing becomes of it,just how would you protect yourself, and the contractor you work for.Would you choose (a)or(b).In this reason, being for my first post above..

Getting even , chronic complaining, and a all-around dismal attitude must make it a joy for others to work with or be around you.......at least your consistent I'll give you that.

Re: box fill

Can work either way.If others work with us we usually get along fine.I am not a hard a$$ if thats what you think. We are in the middle of doing slab work for a dentist office. We are working out details with the plumbers so we all end up in the right spot.In a 2500 foot building we will have at least 30 stub ups and the plumber has even more. This will be a real mess for the concrete men to pour and finish. As to what we will do if we find a conflict in location or he is in our spot is to talk to the plumber,if that doesnt work i would call his boss as he happens to be a friend of mine.No way will i move any of his work. That could get us in deep troubles. There should be a super to arrange any meetings needed. Can't we just all get along ?
