Installing a cover on that box is easy if you've got the right equipment. One of these should do the job nicely.

Anyone want to take a stab at the box fill calculation on this one?

Just for yucks... that looks to be a 4-11/16 x 1-1/2" = 29.5 in3

34 conductors @ 2 ea = 68 + 1 EGC (ha!) = 70 in3

Even if they are #12 (which I think that one at the top is if you look at the jacket printing very closely, we're still only at 87.5 in3

Just slap on two 1-1/2" extension rings and you are good to go. :roll:

What I'm dying to know about this picture though is how many circuits are there in this rat's nest? Other than some EGC's at the top, every wire nut appears to only have two wires under it...
