Hey guys quick question regarding 314.16b why does the wiresize stop at 6awg wire. What do you do if you have to size a box with #2 wire. do you go to the pull box calc and size the box according to conduit size? How woul you find the cubbic inches of a 4X4X4 box? would the cub in be 64? Do you than size the wire from table 5 in the back of the book?

314.28 applies for wire sizes 4 and larger...314.16 only applies to boxes for conductors #6 and smaller.

You would just go to 314.28 to figure the minimum box dimensions depending on straight or angle, entries per row, conduit size used or required.

3 @ # 2 THHN
1 @ # 6 THHN
Need 1.25 every raceway (Except PVC A, never seen it)

1.25 x 8 =10 in straight through 10" x 4 x 4
1.25 x 6 =7.5 in angle 8" x 8 x 4

distance between entries of same conductor not closer than 6 x the larger raceway.
