Branch circuit conductors/Home Runs

I believe a branch circuit conductor is from the last OCPD to the load/device/equipment. So if you had a home run pipe coming out of a panel with 6 cicruits to a home run box would that be considered branch circuit conductors? Thanks.

If you had a pipe from a panel to a disconnect for a motor would that be a branch circuit? Or would it bee from the disconnect to the motor? Thanks.

If there are no other OCPD then each cir that was run is a branch circuit. The splices do not matter so the entire run is the branch circuit. The homerun is generally considered the wire from the breaker to the first device or JB.

I might add that the homerun is not an NEC term

The NEC defines the term branch circuit:

Branch Circuit. The circuit conductors between the final
overcurrent device protecting the circuit and the outlet(s)
