Sanity check: I have an 800-ton chiller being installed. On chiller manufacturer's cutsheet, minimum circuit ampacity is 1100Amps, and MOCPD is 1600Amps. Chiller has a VFD.

1. Is it okay to size the wire to 1100Amps and the fuse to 1600Amps?
2. The VFD provides any overload protection and the fuse performs SC & GF protection, so its okay that the fuse is so much larger than the wires' ampacity, correct?
