Branch circuits through apartments

Hypothetically situation. The building is a multi unit facility for memory care. Is there anything in the building code or NEC that would prohibit running an adjacent unit branch circuits above another unit....the home runs would be above a fire rated ceiling in the decking....they just would be routed above the adjacent unit through the firewall between the two units then feed the unit

Not an issue for branch circuits and even feeders.
