Breaker Box Mains - Torque Spec?

Hello,

Was inspecting the work done by my electrician. Found the Neutral wire was loose in the mains.

Is there a torque spec that is required for these? I don't have the box part number to check the datasheet.

Just curious what is standard.

I'm a Mech engineer and airplane mechanic, not an electrician.

The NEC requires terminations to be torques to manufacturer specs which are normally displayed on panels. In addition there are Tables in the NEC providing recommended torque values if there are none specified by the manufacturer.

If it's a Square D Homeline panel, the torque specs are normally on a sticker on the side of the panel enclosure on the inside.

If you found it loose, they aren't even close to the right torque.
