I have a 200 amp panel from which I want to feed 100 amps to a subpanel right next to it. Would I use a 100 amp breaker in the main panel as the feed to the subpanel ?

the subpanel will have an interlock installed on the main switch and a 100 amp breaker receiving the 100 amps from the main panel, so I need a receiving breaker in the sub panel for the interlock.

do I have this right?
