Breaker Question

So you see the existing panel and then modified based on new circuits. Some circuits had a 20A breaker previously and now say 15A. Would you change the breaker to 15A or could you leave the 20A? This is a change to work we have so they will scrutinize.

Depends on what makes it a 15a circuit.

Exactly my thought. Sure, the 12ga is already there, but notice that these are all for VAVs. It’s possible that the VAVs have an MOCP of 15A.

For _many_ 15A circuits it wouldn't make a difference. For example, if the circuit feeds at least 2 15A receptacles, then it would be just fine with a 15 or 20A breaker. The conductors are specified as 12 GA (presumably copper!) and can be on a 20A breaker.

However as noted above _some_ 15A circuits require 15A OCPD. If a device on the circuit has a 'max OCPD' rating, then you are required to abide by it.
