Breaker stuck in on position

Should I be concerned about the other Cutler Hammer CH breakers in a panel? My son is buying a house that was built in 2002.

Anything can fail. If you want to make sure the breakers likely work flip them all off and on and make sure when off the power to that circuit is off.

Does not prove the cb will trip on an overload though.

Everything installed around here back 40+ years ago are CH because that was all that was available. Haven’t run across a bad one yet, but that doesn’t mean they are not out there. There were no electric supply houses within 50 miles, so all electrical supplies were bought at the local builders supply, and that’s all they carried.
