Good day guys and gals.

I am wanting to install the attached lights and a receptacle to a brick knee wall similar to the picture on the right. I am not familiar with brick knee wall construction. Will there be a void in the center of the brick for me to splice the lights and run a cable or conduit for the receptacle? The lights are 12V so technically don't need to be in conduit. I am just not sure how to plan for the install or what to expect. Any of you ever had a similar install? I would appreciate your feedback.

Whoever sets the block will install the lights.
The [probably] aluminum bars will get set into the joint and the wire will be run out the back side so that it can be connected to your low voltage lighting circuit

Not 100% sure about a receptacle, but I would likely try to use a Bell box and have it set vertically with a short piece of PVC conduit stubbed out the back so that UF cable could be run to it

You have to take the brick crew out to lunch, they are going to make you look good, You have to buy
them a Coke/Gatorade for every spot that you're not ready or have to pull a brick./block! :)

Ask mason and understand what the mortar gap will be, Hsve them understand that you might have to grind in a slot
for your wire

I'd consider stud M/F connectors and sweat a shrink wrap and make all them up with conductors to length per placement.
and bring to a central discrete location. With a small PVC ground box and use clear silicone around holes for all circuits.
Drill at least two holes one for the circuit and another for the branch.

If the client can afford this they probably have it sprinkled, avoid running circuit with or around this, if in a planter go deep.
You can use ~ 3.8" slit pvc (snurf tube) or spiral wrap if in a planter and run to the bed edge (deep) if in a planter.
Ask the owner if they want some power plugs out there or convenience or seasonal BS, and bill accordingly.

Advice owner where their Circuit box will be or is and where the wires are.

Good Luck post some pictures...
