The retirement community where I work have been upgrading the apartments to meet new standards & styles. As one of two electricians on site my job is to bring all the electric to code. The 1st problem I have found is that all of the range receptacles are secured to the floor {concrete slab} in each apartment. The floor plans are all open so flooding is not an issue. Is there a height requirement? The ranges we install have gap from the base up of about 10" to 12".If I mount the recpetacle any higher the range will not go close enough to the wall when pugged in.And also can I use 3 wire cable to bring a hot & two switch legs to a switch-over-switch? The switches are for asigle light & a small bath fan. Thanks in advance
