who is using this, and how is it working for you? it appears the cost is about $3,600
a year for the pro version.....

My wife's GC company took their dog and pony show demo awhile back. They are always looking for subs to bid. It was felt that it's only as good as the subs and other companies that they can sell on using it.

well, i'm running the free version, and it started spewing
requests to bid, so i started bidding them.

there is no point in getting the pro version. i took the dog
and pony show, and the salesman said, just bid what shows
up, and see how much of it you get, and use the free version.

about $4k a year to get the pro version.

we shall see if i get anything off of it. i bid 14 today, before
going back to plumbing the pool.

Might be better for you as a sub submitting bids than a GC looking for subs to bid on a particular job.

let me guess, the free version places your 14 bids in a pool of 14,000, the pro version weeeding that out to 140

i don't think so, to be honest.
the fellow i spoke to, said there was *no* benefit to me to get the "pro" version.
he wanted to know how my bid process worked, my "workflow", etc. i explained it,
in that the phone will ring, it's someone looking for a lighting cert that i've never heard
from before, and was referred by someone i've never heard from either..... and i'll quote
them over the phone, and go from there.

the visual image i used in the description was like it was watching a drunk run thru traffic
on the freeway, picking up $100 bills, which is usually good for a laugh.

however, i have gotten two followups, requesting additional information. i wouldn't bid build
out work this way, but i've got a product i can quote sight unseen. i just need the location
to know how much to put on for travel costs.

i'd agree with that.

i'm providing a turn key slam dunk service for a fixed price, and it's not a lot of money, and my risk is low.
if i was the GC, i don't know how good this would work out, getting a flood of bids i'd have to vet.
