I have used these before and they work great for splicing into and existing circuit. They must be accessible (Crawl, Attic etc.) and cannot be put into the wall (AKA replacement for a flying splice). At least that is how I remember the installation instruction that came with it.

Those look like the same thing or very similar. Any experience with these? Any thoughts about them?

I have used them at times and they seem fairly indestructable.
