PS the galvanized is also a no no because of corrosive gases. And where did the spell check go? My spelling got real bad after trying to learn some German for plc's on German software!

well, another short in the same conduit yesterday......... I didn't ask the boss (AHJ) and put in armored cable, it's easier to ask forgiveness!

one other reply mentioned a plumbing contractor to ream the pipe...but most large companies that deal with having to retrofit underground piping have a sleeving system to reline pipes that must be reused and cannot be excavated for repairs or replacement. that may be an option if the conduit size and wire size allows the fill percentage to remain within specs, so if the camera inspection shows the problem , this might be a solution, also, if this is feeding a motor , there is some additional de-rating allowed for motor conductors to give you more room to work with.
