Bus bar bracing calculations

i'd like to know how to calculate bus bar bracing for switchgears. where can i find the formula or equation for proper bus bar bracing? what code or standard governs this?

Bus bracing is a science unto itself. When a piece of switchgear is designed, it is UL tested to verify the design is correct. Unless you are hoping to design the minimum value (10,000kA), I wouldn't suggest you try. I would assume ANSI has bus bracing requirements.
