Bus duct question?

Hi all, I need your help once again!
We are installing square D bus duct in a factory setting.
The duct has a 1000A OCPD, and feeds from a 2000A MDP. At the end of the duct we plug in a factory tap box . Ok, now from that tap box we install (3) 3" emt conduits that terminate into a 1000A Load center to feed all kinds of equipment, plus some sub-panels. My question is........would you consider the 1000A load center a service, or just equipment?
Im trying to size the bond wire in those (3) 3" conduits from the tap box into the load center.
Maybe I should add: The duct we have installed does not have any "slots" or places to plug in disconnects along its entire length like some I have seen.

Thank you so much for any input!

Im thinking (3) sets Of (4) 400 KCMIL and a 2/0 bond in each raceway?

I believe its called "feeder duct" and your equipment ground would be based on the OCP device feeding the duct (250.122). If 1000 amp, then 2/0 Cu in each conduit (if you use an actual conductor vs the conduit itself.)

Well yes its a feeder duct we mostly install these in plants or high rise buildings heres one in a turbine plant .

Its a feeder to a sub distribution panel down stream. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt195/stringking/Mitsubishi051408017.jpg

If we do a high rise office building each electrical room has a buss duct riser lets say 4000 amp 480 3 phase and has a disconnect in that sub room kinda a 800 amp disconnect tap box off duct then we feed the transformers or sub panels out of that riser in that sub room .

Its a feeder just like them pipe runs
