We are going for busbar insulation for our 415V and 11kV switchgears.Please suggest the best insulating method out of epoxy coating and Heat shrinkable sleeving.

We are going for busbar insulation for our 415V and 11kV switchgears.Please suggest the best insulating method out of epoxy coating and Heat shrinkable sleeving.

Fluidized epoxy bed coating for the solid busbars with the bre-punched splices left off. The assembly would require the splices to be left bare, including the splice-plates. Heat shrink tape or preformed caps can go over the splices after assembly and test. Field connections are left off - bare - and should be completed again wiuth heat-shrink tape in the field.
