bypass switch

There are pro and cons to every answer. I agree with talking with the customer. Let them make an informed decision. I treat all my customers the same, like I want to be treated. This can be hard sometimes but I believe in karma. Plus it never hurts being professional.

Old school that have came across way too many things he with electronics become obsolete in ten years , even expensive drives & large room lighting / dimming control panels. Many years ago while in class we used a single pole master switch wired to several of one of the traveler screws on three way switches, the other traveler was wired to the same breaker that feed the master switch and the remaining screw to each luminare. This only works on luminaries controlled by a single pole switch. If load was high ( not your case ) RIB relays could be mounted on the bottom of a 4" trough. Had a custom home where owner that kept adding double 150 watt Par 38 floodlights to outside of house after I ran 12/3 NM cable next to his bed and four entry doors. Ended up installing a three pole contactor on three circuit breakers. Installed a two position selector switch and a timer so when he was on vacation he could have the timer turn lights on & off. Not a big fan of wifi. My WiFi goes out several times a month and cable company tells me everything us working. Loose my ring cameras when its down.
