Cable Trays

Has anyone ever used a cable tray system for running SER? I've got a job to run 8 lengths of SER ranging from 190' to 25' all originating from the same service through a basement and was thinking that a cable tray would be better than running individually and going with staples. It would sure be nice to be able to lay them in a tray.

If the cables listed for the use & building is of the proper type it should be OK.
