Cables in Raceways

It was my understanding that the 2005 would permit the installation of cables in complete raceways systems. (ex: Type NM in EMT) Where and how was this change made, I can't find it.

Bryan: The change was made in each of the raceway articles. The raceway fill section of each article now states that cables may be installed unless specifically prohibited by the respective cable article. I haven't seen any cable articles that prohibit it from being in a raceway.

I don't have the 2005 here at work, so I can't quote you any sections, sorry.

It's in all the xxx.22 sections of the raceway articles.

Cables shall be permitted to be installed where such use is not prohibited by the respective article. The number of cables shall not exceed the allowable percentage fill specified in Table 1, Chapter 9

I was looking through the cable articles and didn't even think to look in the raceway articles.
