NYC should just have light rail powered busses and city vehicles IMO that place is so packed and small I see no reason to use flammable fuel for most of its uses. Outside I understand but it used to be normal that almost no NYC residents drove at all.

My wife and I decided to take the Red Line from Union Station to the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. The trip there was fine, until we took the return trip. We were encountered with a transient carrying a baseball bat up and down the transit car. So much with the idea of saving fuel. We are not going downtown anymore.
