Can I leave a pull station at a previous exit

Hi all.

I have a job that has 3 exit doors of which only one is required by code. Each door has a pull station beside it. Do I have to remove the pull stations that are at the 'old exit doors' or can they remain even though the door will be sealed shut. Any help is appreciated.

In my experience pull stations can be at just about any location in addition to those that are required.
