One rod will do the trick. Just hold it high above your head and stand out there. It'll be quite a thrill....:lol:
In the case of a house boat, I'd recommend plate electrodes...I am moving to Maracaibo Lake in a House-boat there. Do I need a "floating" single or double rod?

I'm pretty they won't float, they will just sink into the water. Perhaps some water wings?
Attach to the boat hull's underside. If they sink... so goes the boat. :happyyes:
