Can I use any dust tight box in class 2 div 2 or 1 location?

My question is can I use any type of dust tight box in a class 2 div 2 or 1 location or does it have to have a class 2 listing on the box itself and if not when does it need the class 2 listing?

Depends. NEC Art. 502 would need to be referenced depending on what is in the box. Like if it is luminaires, switches, etc.

Division 2 does not need any special marking or listing. %02.10(B)(4) just requires dust tight. The note to Table 110.28 says: "The term dusttight is typically used in conjunction with Enclosure Types 3, 3S, 3SX, 3X, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12, 12K, and 13"
Division 1 does not require a special listing, but the enclosure must be dust tight and have threaded bosses. 502.10(A)(3).
