This building had 2 code violations before the two new service disconnects were added on the left.
The reason they were added was to group the disconnects in one location.
Upon satisfying the grouping requirement, a new violation was created.
Can you spot the 3 violations?

I see no ground rods- 2 violations
could be not rain tite
1 meter does'nt appear to have a face blank

The largest of the disconnects is doubles hubbed back through the meter socket and is probably using the meter socket as a raceway. I think this is probably a violation. I see the ground conductors arent secured with any strapping. Meters one and two look to have the line and load running through the same gutter which would indicate to me fused and non fused conductors in the same pull box/wireway.

I cannot spot a new violation but assuming the 3 pipes coming up from the earth are original, one of the 2 old violations would be support of those conduits.
*Edit- Also is there a distance you have to be away from a window, doorway? The window on the right of the service looks a bit close.

1. It is hard to see, but it looks as though the disconnects are not properly identified.

2. The GEC on the right side of the photo is not properly supported.

the height of the discos is hard to tell, but the window frame is generally around 6'-8", if we measure by that, these are okay.

I see 2 raceways entering the first disco on the left - is that paralleling or... service conductors and feeders in the meter enclosure?

Securing and support of the service raceways entering the Wireway. (although this is typical of installations such as this)

# 1 violation is 230.7

#2 height of disconnect handle

#3 don't see it, but might it be a question of clearances?

I know a violation. 110.12 ;)

It is very ugly on the side of what otherwise could be a nice looking building.

All of the meters are nippled out of the top of a weathertight trough, making it no longer weathertight.

The 2 meters on the right look as though they're chase-nippled, and cannot be closed and sealed properly.

You guys are pretty sharp today!

1. 230.7 (photo)
2. 404.8(A) (each brick row is about 4")
3. 110.26(E) (The meters extend out from the brick 14 1/2". The disconnects are only 6")

What a mess!
