can't seem to find the pm rules

owner-builder, fire captain, dad, husband, kiteboarder,
looked over that new members category but can't find the info,, i need to PM someone on here but i don't have the option available,, not ever to PM a moderator. how many posts do i have to do before i can pm someone?
 
New members posts must be released by a moderator before they are visible. After about 3 approved posts and possibly a few hour cycle time your posts will not need moderation.

Access to the PM system takes longer, but I am not sure what the limit is. PMs are referred to as "conversations" in the Forum software.

If you use the Report button on an existing post, what you enter will only be visible to Moderators.

The restriction on PM usage is necessary since some spammers rely on the PM system rather than open posts, and that is harder to control once they have been given access.
