Carbon Monoxide detectors

The Florida building code is requiring carbon monoxide detectors in single family homes. Would anyone know the requirements for installation? Where they are needed spacing etc.

Mr. Cook,

Get yourself a copy of the NFPA 720 and follow the maunfacturer's instructions that come with the CO alarm.

The rule established by law will be incorporated into the new 2007 Florida Building Code - Glitch Amendments.
